EdCamp is a teacher directed form of professional development which would closely resemble a professional learning community meeting. There is no theme for the conference, there are no experts, there are no keynotes. It is a day of discussion and sharing about issues educators care about.

Been reading Motion Leadership, the resource beingused with this year's Northland Leadership Program.  Chapter 3 resonated in terms og change experience I have experienced in my career.  The tenet of "ready-fir-aim" seems counterintuitive, but if you do not begin to act, then you can spend all your time planning to accomplish nothing.  A change initiative needs to be a shared responsibility - and buildingthat shared ownership is a key component.  To so requires constant ongoing 2-way… Continue
