Sherrie actually asked me to let everyone know about what happens at an Edcamp, so I thought I would share this with you:
EdCamp is a teacher directed form of professional development which would closely resemble a professional learning community meeting. There is no theme for the conference, there are no experts, there are no keynotes. It is a day of discussion and sharing about issues educators care about.
